I hope this horrid mod is not a statement about who KIA expects to buy the Stinger. Lexus a couple of years ago did an IS for SEMA with a trunk full of hot sauce, so it may just be part of the over the top attention getting at the show.

No, what I said was that this mod destroys the clean lines of a nice looking car. If this is the way KIA is promoting the Stinger, it is looking at the wrong kind of buyer.

Was at the mall yesterday, the one that has a Stinger in the mall. They have a storefront coming soon for the "Stinger Experience" a'la a Tesla store. I took a picture of the front of it, will get it uploaded and post it.

Yeah and not sure why they used amg exhaust tips when hyundai have their own parts bin, unless WCC have these tips already in their stash

Went to one of the local KIA dealers today to get a look at a Stinger in the flesh. Really impressive! It looks better in person than in pictures. The one on display was a 4 cyl but nothing about it looked cheap. Paint was a really nice metallic blue, great looking red caliper Brembo brakes, and really nice wheels. The interior was black perforated leather and reminded me a bit of the C300 interior. Plenty of leg and head room both front and back (I'm 6'2") but not wide enough for 3 adults in the back. This is a Korean spec car, so no driving it. Sales guy had no intro dates or pricing info but would take a refundable deposit. I really like this car as a replacement for my wife's beloved 2011 v-6 Accord coupe.

KIA.com has a list of places (dealerships and malls) where there is a Stinger to look at.

What a great way to introduce a different kind of KIA. Picture the wife coming home from the mall and saying "honey I saw this beautiful car at the mall today, buy it for me." Or perhaps the devious guy who wants a Stinger and offers to take his wife shopping and just "accidently" finds the KIA storefront.
