I am unable to open the unlocked driver's side door from the inside in my 2002 Toyota Avalon. It can still be opened from the outside, just not the inside in the unlocked position. I've read that the problem could be a bad inside door handle, a faulty actuator motor, or broken cables. I saw a picture of an actuator assembly and not only does it include the actuator motor, but it has two wires or cables coming out of it. If I were to purchase an actuator assembly, would I need any other wires or cables? I'm thinking of buying a new actuator assembly and inside door handle and then having a repair shop install the parts, but I'd like to be prepared in case I need something else.
