At long last. Now the question is, will it be facelifted along with the regular model or hold the same styling? If not, there's going to be an awkward spread of old vs. new, with both being RX's. Then, if the regular RX gets a facelift next year, does that leave the new L an odd duck, with only one or two model years in the running? Not really a good return on the tooling dollar. Tough time to bring in this new thing. Either way, it's not really planned out too well.

My dealer said that 2018 RX will be delayed until 2/2018 because of the introduction of the RXL so we might have an early facelift for the 4th Gen RX.

I agree. Like some Range Rover modes, its nice that the RX was a 5 seater.

I don’t understand why to many people having a LWB model means the RX “is no longer a 5 seater”?!?

Yep, 3rd row seats fold down..........and then it's a 5-seater with a LOT more cargo space.

It is, but the point is the original RX still exists. Many people seem to feel the existence of a 3row RXL negates that.
