Got my CX-5!
Sonic Silver GT AWD Premium (fully loaded). Loving this car! Has HUD, two USB ports for both our iPods, memory seats, copper stitching on the black leather seats. Amazing what they offer for the $$$.

Congratulations. A wise choice. It, and the Kia Sportage, are probably the two nicest vehicles in this class. I was generally well-impressed with the CX-5 I reviewed...my only significant complaint was the lack of a true temperature gauge, and the use of red and blue warning-lights for engine temperature (Subaru does the same thing on some of their models). But, even so, that would not have been a deal-breaker for me.

Congrats. My dad just got one of these. Beautiful ride, amazing fit and finish and performance is good for a mid range non performance vehicle. Mazda is making some great vehicles in this latest generation. I think the newest Mazda 6, especially the wagon, is one of the best looking cars out of Japan at the moment.

Hey is that a stick? Back the truck up I may have to run out and get one!! (dream on) Congrats!
Just went to the website and had a choice of auto or manual--when I chose manual, all 3 trims had a circle with a slash through it, FWD or AWD?

I believe with the new gen, the 6MT is gone. In the outgoing model, I think only the base FWD offered it.

Wife was going to check out a new CRV, I told her to definitely check out the CX-5 as well...I was thoroughly impressed by the CX-9 and the CX-5 I have high expectations for. My Mazda dealerships (here in the Dallas area) are unfortunately less-than-stellar both in terms of purchase and service but I quietly wish some of the Mazda bold styling came to Lexus..

I dealt with Town North Mazda. They have a tiny showroom/service area but a large inventory of vehicles. Will (internet manager), Alex (sales manager) and Arthur Arce (salesman) all worked together. It was a nice, no-pressure experience, and they got me the exact vehicle I wanted from another dealership within a day. After I signed tons of paperwork, I told the finance manager how the Audi finance manager's desk is a big iPad and you sign everything with your finger. He laughed and said their owner bought a Range Rover and had the same experience, but he said they can't afford it. That's fine with me. We got a lot of car for the money, so they can save on the overhead.
We drove from Dallas to Plano today, all highway, and the CX-5 was comfy and quiet and felt substantial. Mazda has also managed to make a vehicle on stilts handle more like a car. The Bose audio system was surprisingly good, though not quite the caliber of the B&O in my A4. Air conditioning was ice cold, which is great since we reached 96 degrees today in Dallas. The 2.5 4-banger is a little coarse under acceleration, but you can barely hear it with all the new sound-deadening. Surprising amount of power it puts out. My goal was to have a second car I enjoyed driving (did not like the G37 convertible), and I achieved it!
Honestly, reminds me of our old FX35. IMO, it would have been a better styling evolution than the current QX.

Congrats! I'm really liking these new CX5's... especially since they fixed the issues with the outgoing model
when my lease is up next April, I will most likely be getting one of these grand tourings
tbe only thing that bothers me about the new style is the wheels... they look so small. Older wheels looked better to mw
but hey, can't have everything I guess.
Good of luck with the new ride.
