And not to poke at anyone, it is quite a bit quicker than your admittedly fun pocket rocket on full boil...
2005 Toyota Corolla XRS 0-60 in 7.6sec.
Lexus GS 450h 0-60 mph 5.4 Quarter mile 13.9
So Hybrids can be performance as well, if they chose to make them so….

The current hybrid GS450h is currently Lexus's 3rd quickest car sold.. …. after the LFA and the ISF... even quicker than it’s V8 brother the gs460

I prefer it to be called the SC because:
1. The "S" in the SC would signify the new-found sporty character in Lexus's new line-up, rather than being another Luxury Cruiser that the last-gen SC really was.
2. The size of the LF-LC appears to be more comparable to the 6-series and the E-Class Coupe than to the CL-Class, which means it shouldn't be considered an LS coupe and therefore shouldn't have the letter "L".
3. The SC deserves to live on.

SC500 is what I want powered by Lexus existing 5.0 V8. Forget the hybrid - that tech has no place in a mainstream performance sports car. Look at the Porsche hybrids - those cars are like a joke compared with their non-hybrid stablemates.

Well Lexus feels that way Again even in their brochures its described as the fastest Lexus not an "F" model.

Without independent verification, I say it is just a marketing lie to promote hybrid tech. That marketing lie is the reason the GS460 doesn't have 380hp too. Honestly, somebody should find the person who came up with this strategy, go their house and set fire to them.

Tret, your chop covered another of my manufacturer pet peeves. The most custom wheel looks include a polished or machine finished rim with a colored spider yet Lexus (and most other manufacturers) refuse to offer the look (Porsche does).

On the not of pet peeves. I'm afraid with that grille design that it can and WILL be victim to the "over-crash bumper" look which too many cars are sporting since the GT-R pulled it off very well. The part of the bumper that is blacked out to make the car look like it has a big AUDI vaj looking mouth haha! I really hope designers stop jocking this design.
And proof this might happen. Five:Axis. How to hire a company to make your LEXUS look like a SCiON.
I hope the designers don't carry that over to this car but it looks highly likely with no separation between grille and air dam
