Good proportions, just like the RC. We definitely didn't see this when the ISC prototypes came out... lol

Coming together nicely. Going from the comments of others I definitely see traces of earlier models. SC, LFA and loving the length. Should be a nice salon car. Maybe they can make this have a lateral of 1G? Hey, a guy can wish.

Default Lexus Australia: "We’d Love to Get” LF-LC Convertible

Lexus Australia's chief exec thinks the LF-LC convertible would make a fine flagship performance car, perfect for battling the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe.

Given that Toyota/Lexus wouldn't even allow any of the LFA Roadster, the 86 Open Top and the LF-LC2, all perfectly viable convertibles from low to high end to happen, I've pretty much given up my hope in those short-sighted bean counters ever letting a Lexus convertible to materialize again.

They even said the 86 and the RC were engineered from the get-go to support a convertible version. What a waste of over-engineered chassis/body rigidity!

If you look at molasses running down a maple tree, it moves quicker than toyota/lexus coming out with any type of "sporty/sports" car, let alone a convertible

(And I'm a fairly loyal lexus customer)

Well they do still currently sell the IS-C, a half-assed afterthought that of course can't compete with its properly engineered rivals. I'm sure they used it as the basis of their bean counting thought process as to why they shouldn't produce another convertible ever again.

Yes, I would like to get one myself, but I won't hold my breath. And as for the IS Convertible, I think it has been discontinued.

You can still build it on lexus.com and have the order sent to your nearby dealer.

Cool Build It!

My lease on my 2014 IS-350C is up in May of 2017. If they haven't built this car by then I'll just have to go buy a Corvette convertible.

Your Honor, I wasn't driving too fast, I was just flying too low....
