Looking at the LF-LC, you see just how much/how quickly Lexus design has advanced in two years. While still a beautiful concept, I personally think it would need a nip and tuck to bring some of the detailing and surfacing up to what we have seen with RC and LF-NX...and I think that would be a good thing.

I'd like to see a LF-LC II concept this year, and a production car maybe next year?

It's magnificent in person let me say. I worked the 2012 SF International Autoshow at the Lexus booth and I got to stare at this machine for 5 days. Just splendid. Granted there was only a golf cart motor in it to get it up onto the platform but still a sight to see

Default Should the Production Lexus LF-LC Look Like This?

Japanese magazine Best Car has published an attractive rendering of a production Lexus LF-LC coupe.

Merging the best of the LF-LC concept with the design of the RC coupe, the “LC F” rendering above is quite believable with its extreme polish — I could definitely see the production LF-LC looking very similar.

Best part of all — it’s not just pure speculation. The LF-LC has already been confirmed by Lexus executives, though its development & eventual release date still remains a mystery.

That production rendering is great! It sort of has the classic grand tourer shape (long hood, short rear deck, etc) but adds aggression to it. Love it!

Suddenly an LFA looks like an FRS next to that rendering.... Hopefully the production model won't be too far off.

Beautiful, but very irritating. The styling here is perfect, but exactly what standard F-sport models should have been. I'm mainly referring to the IS F-sport. That model should easily have these large front air intakes on each side of the grille. Our current IS F-sport has closed off front openings that look weak and weasy. Lexus went too conservative in saving the great look for this high end model. All F-sport models should have these large intakes. The masses would have gone crazy over it, since it's all the rage on all current sports cars.
For those who are going to say "then, there would not have been anything special left for the LF-LC," hogwash. Lexus could have easily manipulated the styling theme here even further while still sharing the sporty front intakes on the regular F-sport models.
