Don't think the 4-door coupe version will have a side profile that's nearly as sexy, but sure more variants can't hurt.

For example,

Sexy:

I never understand the purpose of a 4-door coupe, none of those cars can fit anyone in the back comfortably anyway, so what's the point? If you want a stylish car, just buy a coupe, if you need a car to carry more then 2 people, buy a normal sedan

Maybe the 2 small back seats are for dogs and kids only?

I agree, I just don't get the 4-door coupe. And they're all so ugly.

I'll go even further and say that cars with 4 seats should have 4 doors, period. I never understood the appeal of a 2+2 config in a 2-door vehicle. And I'll only make one exception for having more than 2 seats in a 2-door car.

Usually for the purpose of insurance but I agree, I don't want anyone in the backseat of my 2 door.

Me plus 3 tight body honeys in a fast sports car makes a lot of sense to me.

funny the back seats of the new c class coupe, they are more spacious than the rear seats of the 2is (and actually pretty darn comfortable too)

^What lexus should have done in the IS is make the trunk smaller and slide the rear seats back a little more. Even 3-5 inches would have made a HUGE difference.

True.. but it's still not that bad lol

I rather give up a few inches of trunk space (and that area behind the seats is the "smaller" part of the trunk) for leg room... especially since I have people in my back seats semi-regularly.

hopefully they do manage to increase rear leg room AND reat boot in 2013 IS.
I think it is reasonable expectation as those two are major issues with IS.
