De badging the car has little to do with being proud of the brand. I removed the emblems for a cleaner look. You have members here with Lexus vehicles that debadge for the same reason. Why would I be ashamed of Hyundai? They build incredible cars. Given the history of Lexus and it's journey to attain its current "pedigree" I would think you'd enjoy the competition and the fact that each of these manufacturers push the other to build better cars.
Agreed. What does it say about the pedigree of a car when you removing all the badging?
i guess you guys haven't been to europe where it's VERY common for bmws and mercedes to be debadged. a lot probably do it to hide the fact that they bought a lower end model (smaller engine typically) and have then modded it, but it should be all good - it means they're enthusiasts.

Well, actually I have been to Europe, but I will accept your word that they are debadged to hide the fact they bought a lower end model.
