Other than additional cost, I don't see any downsides to going with ceramic window tint.
Are there any other advantages to metallic film window tint ?
Also what is the rough expected price difference these days if I go with ceramic vs mettalic for a 4 door sedan treatment (4 side windows and rear window)

 

for me tint is all about blocking heat and i think that alone makes ceramic worth it

hard to gauge on price difference when tinting cost itself varies so much across regions

But installer can botch the job if unskilled. Ceramic can be tricky to install.

 

Get ceramic don't be cheap. It's all about the heat rejection.
Plus I wouldn't trust and tint installer as far as I could throw 'em . A lot of them do not install what you're paying for.

 

The Lexus dealer in my immediate area installs a 3M Graphite tint. Lifetime warranty against discoloration, bubbling, peeling, etc.
