Considering how well the MT-82 is holding up in modified 5.0s, I'd say it's a pretty good Chinese transmission.

The early ones used in the 5th gen Mustang had teething problems. I wonder if they fixed it now.

But my money is that the Tremec unit will have stronger components and better gearing compared to the Getrag unit.

Anyways, I look forward to comparisons between the 5.0 GT versus the 5.2 liter flat plane GT350 (power and torque graph, 0-100, trap speed, G reading, etc.)

My friend has a 2014 Mustang and we have had no issues despite plenty of visits to the drag strip. No issues with third gear, either. I missed it once the very first time I drove it, no issues since.

I wonder just how many people that are eligible to buy one can actually afford one. I don't know anything about Roush Mustangs, let alone Mustangs just as a car. Are these going to be worth what it would cost the service men to pay for them?

in that pic i don't think it looks good (maybe it's the black wheels that make them look tiny against the big body), but it's certainly one heck of a performer!

agreed, great performance .....but the rear spoiler looks like a 16 year old kid bolted it on there.

but I do like the 4WD option as seen below...j/k!

Base price of $48k puts this in used GT-R territory.
