IS 250 ignition problem

Hi,
My lexus is 250 seems to be working ok, but when i press the start button while holding the brake, it wont crank. The gauges bounce up and down but the engine wont start. The radio turns on. Headlights and all other electronics work fine. Any ideas? Thanks.

It could be anything, from a bad starter, a bad computer, or bad crank sensor etc... cars are so complex that guessing wont do you any good. I suggest having it towed to a reputable mechanic
