The current LS was quite revolutionary when it came out in 2006

That quickly faded fast though. The competition struck back, and the combination of Lexus neglecting significant updates to the powertrains/technology, poor implementation of world first's like 8-Speed Automatics, and the signifgance AWD V8 Hybrids. Luckily the 5LS will be revolutionary and hopefully up to date for years to come

See that's the thing, in 2005-2007 Lexus really gave it their all and then all of a sudden they stopped, like they were held back or something.

But the current LS is a really good car, though i'm not too keen on the Spindle-Grill face lift or the departure from the waterfall interior theme to the new horizontal theme

Since we're going totally off-topic, I saw a white LS F Sport coming at me the other day and the grille, lights and presence of the car were really impressive. I don't see them in F Sport garb very often, but let me say it was a double-take moment.
