My 2003 IS300 has 225k miles and is going strong. I had a 1983 Celica that had 286k miles on it when I sold it; the 5 speed transmission (original) bearings were noisy, but it ran great.

2004 rx330

110,000 miles. Still running like a champ!

07 Lexus GS350 AWD

I've got an 07 GS350 with 85k miles that I picked up this year that I'm going to be putting about 30,000 miles/yr on. My buddy had a 90 LS400 with 330k that still rode amazingly and that convinced me to take the capital L- Leap. Can't see myself ever going back.

Honestly, at my first meeting with some of the Lexus PR folks, they didn't even want to talk about reliability. Seriously--they thought it made them look boring! And while I can see where they're coming from, I still think it's hilarious. Put that in comparison to companies like Land Rover, which purports to construct vehicles sturdy enough to cross the Sahara, but is most famous for leaving Beverly Hills yoga MILFs stranded in the Whole Foods parking lot. Or Ferrari, which can't comment on any reliability issues because it's currently ignoring a 458 engine fire. Those companies would kill to have Lexus' track record in that department.

So who has the car on CL with the highest mileage?

Upstate New York winters are so rough on car frames and bodies.

QUOTE=LexsCTJill;8706842]We have a LX450 with 352,000 miles on it sitting on my property in Rochester. It is a family members who is overseas as I type. It has a leaking steering rack, bad cat, and a totally rusted frame that is beyond reproach.

However it still starts, everything inside still works, and gets about 11 mpg combined. It still does very well as for ride and handling.[/QUOTE]

I have a 1999 GS300 as my daily driver with 260k miles and it runs great. I also have a 2010 GS350 with 63k miles.

My 2003 IS300 in now at 307,000 miles.

Simply amazing how long these cars last, but It seems like I'm always buying tires.....

With the possible exception of some LX and GX models, the 1Gen IS (actually a rebadged Toyota Altezza) is arguably the most solidly-built Lexus in history. Some previous LS models are also way up there.

I know this is an old thread but i have 224k on my 02 is300 sportcross. It wouldve had a ton more if i could get the lean code to go away and actually pass inspection.
