Maybe they'll call it the Rav2, 2Runner or Lowlander

"Keed" is right. I sat in one today. Sure didn't feel cheap to me. Almost everything inside, though not lavish-looking in a plush sense of the term, felt solid and substantial.

supposedly new concept is coming this fall and it will be a Scion... lets also not forget about CT based SUV caught testing last year.

Small SUV market in Europe is exploding... after Dacia, Juke, we have Opel, PSA and Renault joining the revolution... Suzuki Vitara just started sales as well. CX-3 and HRV complete the lineup for now, with VW, Ford and Toyota still holding out.

Are you guys in Europe getting the Jeep Renegade? Mechanically, it's essentially a Fiat 500X AWD with a more squared-off, traditional Jeep body and interior. Here in the U.S., we're getting both.

yeah, both of them too.... basically they are priced in "Corolla" territory so their sales are skyrocketing... lots of good entries at good prices, like Renault for instance. Renegade is going to sell well in Europe too, depending on the sales network.

Qashqai is priced around these at low end, even if it is size larger, so it is selling like crazy.

That's great to hear. Just because a car is entry level doesn't mean it can't have nice touches

Does GM/Chevy offer the Captiva or Trax? Or perhaps one of those is the Opel model.

plus already mentioned CX-3 and HRV... which are the last on the market... Only missing links are two largest manufacturers in the world - Toyota and Volkswagen!

The Chevy Trax (and its brother Buick Encore) are both redone/rebadged versions of the European Opel/Vauxhall Mokka.
