Suzuki Swift, I believe "GTi" version. One of my autocross buddies had one of these back when I would autocross my MR2.

The 90s Celica GTS (hatch) had wider rear quarter panels/wheel wells that resembled the All tracs, something the coupe and vert models didnt have. I still think that 90s Celicas design is sexy after all these years.

Oddly enough though while a good handling car the 4th/5th/6th gens are nothing like the 3rd gen. The newer gens gained a less sophisticated rear suspension that made the car less fun. The 3rd gen was the true 4DSC and won quite a few awards.

That is what I was going to comment on. The 4th-gen Maxima gave up the independent rear suspension for a cheaper torsion bar rear suspension, as is commonly used on compact economy models, such as the current Toyota Corolla, not known, by any stretch of the imagination as a sporty car.

I had a 3rd gen Maxima SE like this only black. A fun car to drive. I see the motorized shoulder belt thing in the pic. Those were wierd gizmos.

My 1994 Legend, I loved the mid range torque and I used to sprint around Atlanta at 100+ mph almost every day. I got an aggressive driver speeding ticket once that cost me over $400. I owned a 1987 Legend coupe before this one.
