been out since MY2009. It's certainly time for a new one since they never drew a following like the 350Z did. This fizzled out. It wasn't until the 2012 model year that the 370Z even received an Oil Cooler (FOR A PERFORMANCE CAR ) something you can find standard on a Jetta . Nissan should consider a FI 4 and V6/I6 for the next one.

Default Nissan Puts Red Whiskers on 2015 370Z Nismo, Completes Catfish Look

Nissan picked this week's ZDayZ enthusiast gathering in North Carolina to unveil the updated 2015 370Z Nismo that will go on sale here in the States this July at an as-of-yet, undisclosed price. Highlights include mild exterior and interior revisions, a tweaked suspension, a new Tech grade, and for the first time, the availability of a 7-speed automatic transmission for those who prefer to rest their left foot.

The front end of the car received the bulk of the work with a redesigned bumper housing LED daytime running lights and red accents on the integrated front chin spoiler. Arguably, everyone's taste buds are different, but if you ask me, the 370Z Nismo's front end now looks like a catfish wearing makeup.

Other exterior cosmetic updates for the 2015MY include the red pinstriped side skirts, the new 19-inch forged alloy wheels, a smaller rear spoiler and the reshaped lower portion of the new rear fascia.

The interior of the 2015MY 370Z Nismo is said to have been enhanced with redesigned black-and-red Recaro leather-appointed seats with Alcantara accents, while as an option, Nissan now offers a Tech grade that adds a hard drive-based Navigation System with 7.0-inch touch-sensitive display, RearView Monitor, Bluetooth and other goodies.

Under the hood where you'll find the same 350hp 2.7-liter V6 as before, but buyers will now have the option of a 7-speed automatic with Downshift Rev Matching (DRM) and manual shift mode with paddle shifters, in addition to the close-ratio 6-speed manual gearbox. The final piece of the 2015MY puzzle is the retuned suspension.

Well the 7AT should increase the number of potential buyers at least. Some nice touches but I'm ready for a new Z

They should have a 6 year run, this car is just way overdue.

This refreshed Z looks to be a harbinger of what's to come from Nissan designers. The red lined bumpers were debuted on that Sentra concept a few months ago and the rear diffuser seems to be a direct iteration of what is to be expected on the Infiniti Eau Rouge. Overall, it looks good though.

With all due respect hoovey, I don't see a FI4cyl for the Z, seems kinda blasphemous, lol.. The Z has always been a mid range (higher range?). If they reintroduce a high output 4 maybe revive a Silvia successor? Then again everything is downsizing now, I feel old school even though I ain't even hit 30 yet

Fans at the annual ZDayZ gathering in North Carolina had a world-class view of the Great Smokey Mountains, and were among the first to see the 2015 Nissan 370Z NISMO.
