Toyota To Show Refreshed 2015 Camry In New York
March 27, 2014
Toyota’s mid-size sales star will get top billing
Introduced for the 2012 model year, the Toyota Camry is far from old. But, in a crowded segment with some very stiff competition and the Camry’s sales position slipping ever so slightly, Toyota will be showing off a refreshed model at the New York International Auto Show.
Instead of teasing the future reveal, Toyota simply stated the refresh “will challenge conventional wisdom” when shown next month as a 2015 model.
Toyota will take the cover off the refreshed Camry on April 16th.

Promises to have a more emotional design
Toyota has reportedly confirmed plans to introduce the 2015 Camry at the New York Auto Show.
Details are limited but the facelifted model promises to "challenge conventional expectations of a mid-cycle model change." That's not much to go on but the President of Toyota's Calty Design Research has previously said the car will have a “more emotional, more impactful design."
Little else is known about the model but it will likely feature carryover engines including:

This is gonna be interesting. My hope is they fix the awkward taillights and the buck-toothed front valance on the SE. The rest of the Toyota car line-up has air intakes much more in line with current trends.

I can't recall the interior treatment... but the front is a mix of Corolla/Avalon, emphasis on the larger, trapezoidal lower grille, etc.
Side profile had a blackout six-panel section behind the rear door to alter the DLO shadow from a distance (door cuts didn't actually change).
