Default "The Best" car you have owned . . . .

By far it has been my 1992 Lexus SC300, bought it back in 2011 with 61k miles. It now sports 75k miles. It was/is a #2 type show car, garaged, always waxed, detailed to the 9's. Plus I love the 5 speed manual trans, its pretty rare, as most of them are automatics.

So what is the "best" car you have owned. It doesn't have to be the most expensive, hell my 93 Toyota truck has been a great piece of transit, even if its ugly and the a/c doesn't work.

Funny enough, it would have to be my RX300. Some may consider it a feminine car, but I don't see it that way. Really love the way it drives/rides, has enough power and has been stupid reliable. I need to come up with excuses to just get my hands dirty.

My S2000 - the only car that I've had that can go from the track to date night to daily duty without skipping a beat. Plus it is the only vehicle that has made me feel that my driving abilities were not up to the level of the capabilities of the chassis, as opposed to bringing the chassis up to par with my abilities.
...although it has always been my dream to build a TT V12 SC speedster. One day...

Don't really come accross many cars yet. Though, the most fun was 3000GT-VR4 with it down the toilet reliability. I never really can trust Mitsu again after that.

I can not tell how many times a Sport Sedan EVO came to my mind, and I had t shook it off, every time I think of a new Sport Sedan for the family

I have only had it for 2 weeks, but I have to say my 2012 Fusion. Great shape, low miles, features that weren't available on older cars that I've had, gas mileage, etc.

My funnest car was probably my 89 Firebird(albeit a v6 ). But due to age, miles, abuse and GM quality in the 80's, it definitely wasn't too reliable. However, the problems I had with it were all cheap to repair. I would love to buy another one and restore it though.

My 92 LS400 gets passed up for this because frankly....it just had too many issues. And when **** breaks on the Lexus, it gets expensive as hell to repair. Some of the design issues left me going WTF. Whoever placed the starter under the intake manifold or the alternator under a defective power steering pump was a real dumbass. Random limp modes, lights burning out inside, lcd displays not working, etc. Some of this stuff may be due to age, but the totality of it all as well as the cost to repair left a bad taste in my mouth.

Toss up between my '91 MR2 and my first Lexus - an '04 RX with the Sport-package that had the sweet height-adjustable air suspension.

You take dates in the S2000? I can't have a conversation in the car at highway speeds without yelling.

07 Toyota 4Runner V8. Loved it. Also, 86 Toyota MR2 has to be up there on my list...

I'd have to agree with this one.

Nothing like the 9k redline and driving top down. The thing handles so well and also has so much power for a small car!

Indeed. Top down usually eliminates the need for vehicular conversation

Driven countless cars but only owned 3 thus far. Mustang, Explorer and the IS350. Never had an issue with the Fords, but the IS is the best of the bunch. Hoping the GS would be my next "best car owned"

Of the cars I've owned, the one I enjoy driving the most is the GS I have now.

As the best car from an overall ownership experience I would have to say the 98 LS400. It wasn't mine, it was my fathers but he had it to almost 170,000 miles when he traded it on the new 04 430. Nothing took miles like that car, it was just as enjoyable to look at and drive at 170,000 miles as it was at 170.

His 430 was a great car too, but he didn't put as many miles on it...and as great a car as it was there was just something special about the 400.

In the winter, nothing else was like my former Outback. But, overall, my Verano, I think, has brought me more enjoyment than any modern car I've owned so far....though my yellow Lexus IS300 was close.

I also liked my 90's vintage Saturn SL-2, though it wasn't built quite as well as some of the cars I've owned since then. Still, the ownership experience was a dream.....Saturn, in the 1990's, kissed customers' a**es like no other brand on the market, even Lexus.

My old 06 X5 4.8is

It was the best of both worlds, it was surprisingly quick, sounded nice, was very comfortable, towed my boat better than my dads F250. Lol I literally used that thing for everything, I drove up to Georgia with my bro to see family and in certain areas touched 160mph, went mudding and pulled my cousins Silverado out of a ditch with it.

Sold it 2 years ago with 54,000 miles on it I regret it.
