Visit to the local Toyota dealer - PICS
The main showroom with all the nice hybrid Lexus's and Toyota sedans was closed . So all i was able to get you is pics of the parking lot.
2014 79 Series Land Cruiser pickup . This is known by the locals as the king of the desert. Number one choice for anyone who spends most of his time off road far from from any road.

Clearly it has alot of updates and newer technology. I am sure keeping the body sheetmetal old school is similar to what Jeep has done with their Wranglers..nothing new here.

old school key instead of push button.
Costs around $40k
If Toyota made a base v8 Land Cruiser with a manual transmission i would buy it in a heartbeat. ( Everyone over here is dying for a V8 PETROL manual LC...the main rival the NISSAN PATROL comes with a v8 6 speed 5.6 317hp manual ) Come on Toyota it doesn't have to be the 5.7, the 4.6 v8 would do ). The last time the LC was offered with a v8 petrol manual was during the production run of the 100 series ( 1998-2007 )
