Any feedback on this outfit for purchasing a new vehicle?

Do you belong to USAA or qualify to join USAA?

Their new car purchasing program is much like those offered by credit unions and even Costco. It can be very much hit or miss as manufacturers and dealerships do not always participate. So, if you live in an area where the dealership(s) do not play along you do not get all that great a deal. Being that USAA is national and for military folks and their families they have a bit more pull and from a larger dealer pool.

 

After contacting USAA Buying Service about the purchase of a new RX450h, they in turn contacted several dealers in my area to make me an offer. Several dealerships responded with offers of 2000
to 2500 off dealer invoice for vehicles in stock. Unfortunately those offered did not contain the options or color that interested me.

I liked the service. It got me 2.5% apr on a car loan and LFS matched it so I went with LFS. It didn't have as much of a discount on the CT but it was still something to start with. Dealers approached me and I also went to a few dealers with the paperwork and they were all fighting each other
