It's that that far off from the concept. Not as bad as the Subaru switcharoos at least Gotta say though, those are some massive overhangs.

Looks like crap just like all recent Acuras.

TL from a generation ago was the best design they had in recent memory.

too bland imo, looks like a slightly larger version of the ILX. the only play Acura has left is the pricing, they have to be very VERY competitive for this thing to compete with IS, ATS, 3 series, etc etc etc

Exactly what I thought was going to happen. 90% the same as the concept, but that last 10% that didn't transfer over took away all of the aggressiveness. That being said, it looks nice just boring.

At least, ugly wheels didn't make it to production.

What exactly was so exotic about the concept car bumper covers, that they couldn't just make them production? Its just plastic anyhow right?

it looks awful in white. The white emphasizes the odd proportions on that side profile pic.

something about the rear door, upward waist line, and long front overhang makes it look odd

I agree, the strange part is the rear door and that part of the window line. The way it kicks up reminds me of this uninspiring Pontaic. Kind of gypped or abbreviated, with not enough rear side window and too much sheet metal between it and the beginning of the trunk.
