Don't believe their B.S regarding names. Its working for the tier 1 brands for decades, they trying to reinvent the wheel? It was a bad decision sadly. The G owners waiting all this time for the new car to find out their name is discontinued and its a Q50....crazy.... Should be a G50 |

Looks stunning
I do wonder though if this will be sold in Japan as a Nissan (?). Oh and they need diesel engines if they want to sell volumes in Europe.... |

http://www.automobilemag.com/auto_sh..._infiniti_q50/ If I read it correctly, the hybrid will be available in AWD (a win) Kind of strange that Infiniti also punted on getting updated motors in the car |
I wonder if VAG is going to sue for infringement? Q50 is very close to their Audi Q5 even though they're different types of vehicles. Nissan once sued BMW over the Z3 because they felt it infringed on their "300Z / 350Z" naming heritage, even though I don't think the 350Z was out yet. Might have been a year or two away. That forced BMW to rename the car the Z4. The Z3 was definitely the same general type of car as the 300Z/350Z was, so maybe the fact that they're different types of cars in this case will help them steer clear of infringement?

i see that they went with runflats exclusively... awesome.

looks good, but looks like a huge G series

I'm liking this a little bit more. Grill still looks ridiculous to me however.
Hybrid option is needed and welcomed. That standard 3.7l sucks down fuel at the same rate 8 cylinders do. |
