Red Bull cheating by using banned traction control – Rumors
http://formulaonefans.net/red-bull-c...ontrol-rumors/
Red Bull’s recent strong performances in the F1 2013 season can be mostly down to using banned traction control system in their cars. This what the F1 rumor mill has churning out today.
Autosprint, an Italian publication has put up this allegation against Red Bull and says that their recent run of strong performances, particularly in the Canadian GP last time around, is because of using traction control in their cars.
The allegations have been made thanks to the following screenshot from the incident between Mark Webber and Giedo van der Garde.
Autosprint comments…
“You immediately notice the traces on the track. Those are not continuous (usually darker at the beginning and then gradually faded) of a ‘screech.”
The point made my the alleging party is that the rubber marks on the track are not continuous and seem ‘interrupted’, thus giving rise to doubt about a traction control like system in the car.
Autosprint further added…
“It is the typical behaviour of a road car that goes ‘jerky’ with the traction control switched on,”
So far, no official from the Red Bull team have replied to these allegations.
Here’s the video of the incident, in which you can see Mark Webber accelerating out of the hairpin after the incident…

Autosprint offers up this hypothesis in the same article:
"At this stage there may have been a phenomenon of resonance on the rear suspension or the tires and this is the cause of dark and light spots on the asphalt. The phenomenon of resonance/oscillation lasted only a few seconds as it subsequently was dampened by the shocks of the Red Bull being very rigid take more time to "absorb" a phenomenon like this."

on the other hand, it is coming from an Italian source. you know how the tifosi can get with these things...
