Interesting test no? I was snooping around and had no idea with the Audi A8 had an individual or so package where you can order red leather and a bunch of other colors.

In looking around I really can't believe how everything seems to be a bunch of silvers on the exterior and the usual colors inside. BMW does a nice job with a white and red in some cases but I was shocked the 5 series has no red leather, you have to jump to the M5. The 3 series has the option.

Also surprising is the ATS has a red leather option. The 2014 Panamera has a red leather option but not the previous years. The GTR black ediiton has some red and the track edition has some blue inside.

Now I see what MMarshall has been complaining about.

Yep, purple leather, color key matched to the purple paint. They also did blue and red leather on the GTO, as well as the standard black.

I've also noticed white leather is a popular option on Range Roonies:



Carpets are thankfully black. Cadillac offered an almost white leather option with almost white carpets on the DTS for a few years. Looked horrible, especially those white carpets that never stayed clean.

I also want more textures.

Soft leather and fabrics are one thing. But to have alcantara, Nuluxe, suede, flannel, fur, horsehair, etc -- well, that would be great.

I don't think we should count them(or Rolls, Bentley, etc) in this thread. Those type of cars that are handcrafted you can order the interior whatever color you want in just about any material you want, for a price. If you can come up with baby sea otter fur for the rugs and rhinosourus for the leather, I'm sure they'd stitch it up for you.


As for more "mainstream" cars, I always liked BMW's with the brown leather and wood option. This is an X5 M, but they offer this option on the 3, 5, and 7 as well.

I like that. Not as outrageous as the old Cadillacs with what I call the ***** house interior package, which I love for just being so silly and over the top.



Or how about tacky golf pants as your interior theme . . .



I've also seen that same seat pattern in light blue and green.
