The interior and dash (from admittedly just one glance and image), looks a little better than on the last MDX, but not by much. And why won't Acura designers get rid of those parrot-beaks?...all they are doing is turning off customers and impacting sales. In fact, some Acura shops, at customer-request, actually paint the parrot-beaks body-color to lessen the effect and make the vehicle easier to sell.

Before I bought my 4GS I had a 2008 TL Type S, I am one of the customers Acura lost due to the new designs. The TL I had was a great car, never a single issue with it, and performed well. It's depressing what's happened to that brand, for the money they are tremendous values. Lots of features, including many that you find in cars that are $25k more, excellent build quality in their price range and excellent reliability.

If it wasn't for the fugly design, I would have seriously considered replacing my old TL with a new one. I really hope they get back on track someday.

Flabby, dopey, and visually overweight. Last model looked more athletic. And where are the trademark chromed tailpipes we've had since 2001? Oops, cost-cutting. Interior here is overstyled and busy, in the same way the Ford Focus and Escape are. Also, how does one manually shift the transmission lever? All I see is a spot for "S."
At least Acura is consistent in ruining all their models instead of one or two.
