Nooooooo, Holden Australia had some engineering input but have never touched a single part on this car. Also for what it is worth, Holden may have been seen as quality in the past but aside from the commodore everything they sell is GM DAT (korean) or Thai imports. They do bolt together the Cruze as well but that isn't very nice either
I drove them at work all the time, by far the best car we have.....fun factor is a 10+.....better than any Lexus I've owned....and I have 7 so far. I wish I had the money to buy one.
580 HORSEPOWER
556 lb-ft TORQUE
12.0 SECOND QUARTER MILE
180 TOP SPEED
7:41.27 NURBURGRING LAP TIME
Show some respect
Respect was shown, but to some people there are more to life than 580 bhp.....if I was working on this project, the first thing I would change is the interior. For a 60K car, it's TERRIBLE, it's not much different than a base model Camaro. This is the only area with this car that does not keep up with the rest of the car. Get rid of that awful looking gauge cluster bezzel design, smooth out the center console, re-design the NAV and the other gauges. (the control ***** look like something from Toys R Us)
Also, given the car's power and 180 MPH top speed (drag limited per manufacture), my take is that it was not shaped in a wind tunnel.
