BLACKSC400's new car, a BMW again.
This is copy of my post from other site since I'm too lazy to type again:
Let me share my horror story with my 2009 Individual 750li first:
I bought it cpo last year in April:
First month into ownership, my front ROF tire got damaged from pothole (my own fault). Replacement tire $633.
Second month, I got front camera malfunction, drivetrain malfunction, as well as rear cupholder can't come out. 4 days in the dealership, got things fixed and went on my way.
Month later, engine malfunction again but went away itself, and rough idle continues and 3 days in the dealership, they couldn't find anything wrong since diagnosis shows 'no error'.
I also went in for an alignment, dealer found out front control arm is damaged (?!?) but the alignment is within spec so they won't replace it.
Then my battery died along with leaking rear shocks, 5 days in the dealership got them replaced.
Replaced ROF tires with Michelins Pilot sport, alignment went bad again.
Then last month I found oil leaks! It was from the rear main seal, and dealer kept the car for a week, had to remove the transmission to replace the rear main seal! Car returned home but exhaust fume smells like the engine running rich.
Ohh, a rock just hit my windshield last week and the crack is spreading! Ahh!
It seems like all the f02 problems just happened to my car in a short 11 month ownership and 7000 miles driving! So I got fed up and went to the dealer to buy my new 7 today.
Hopefully a new one won't have any problems
And then on to my new car. Wow! What a difference! It feels tighter, faster and the 8 speed tranny is just worlds better than the old 6 speed! After having a loaded 7, I know exactly what I want this time and they happened to have one ( sucks it doesn't have led lighting package which is the only thing I will miss ).
