2015 Ford Mustang

I don't understand how some people make statements like "I don't like the fusion front".
first off, the fushion front end was designed by ford. So if it looks good on a fusion, then why wouldn't it look good on a 2 door sports car ? the original front end was meant for a 2 door sports car right ? (aston martin).
secondly, the front grille has a strong resemblance to the mustangs of the past. The mustang has always been known for it's snouty front end grille. So why is it too fusionesque now ?
I believe ford had a lot of influence on the front end grille design of the aston martin coupe design. Let's not forget aston martin was once owned by ford.
fords decision to continue to capitalize on the aston martin grille is genius. they saw a successful powerful design cue and kept hitting that spot.

^The new Avalon is pretty nice and all. But I wouldn't want Toyota to use a similar face on a new Supra/flagship sports car.
Some people just don't like the front end. If you go to the Mustang forums there are tons of people that do not like the new model.
By your own words it was design for an Aston, not a Mustang.
I like the old Mustang better, but that's just me. Feel free to disagreed. Everyone is entitled to their opinions.

Mitsu basically had the same face of the Evo to the Outlander....and normal Lancer. Before the face was only in the Lancer family, and it was tolerable, but now....mezh.
It is just similar to a Corvette...with the face of a Cruze...just more agressive, would you buy ? .... I would not
The same goes for Ft86, if the face looked like the Camry....mezh...

Aside from the general grill opening shape the front ends have nothing in common when set side by side. I dig the new mustang, I think it looks great front to back. People complain every time a new mustang comes out, then a few years later it is the "bestest e-v-a-r!"

The current mustang is good. Why ? Simple, because it doesnt look like anything in the family.
I would just buy a used boss 302 instead. If i was buying a 2 doors.
The current gen will age much better than the new one

Some people simply don't like change. That's it. Period. End of story.
People who prefer a solid rear axle will like this new model a little less, and who knows, perhaps that dislike of the IRS will influence their feelings towards the new grille.
This car is a much better car than the last generation. I don't think that's up for debate. People who dislike it now will grow to tolerate or perhaps like it in the future. This is proven again and again in psychological studies. Familiarity breeds acceptance. Difference breeds distrust. How many of you despised the new IS when you first saw it, and now tolerate it or actually like it?
This is not an ugly car, which is not the same as simply being different, so eventually people will stop complaining about the "Fusion front".

First off I don't think anyone here is saying the new Mustang is ugly. We just don't like the front end.
For me at least it has nothing to do with change. Cars change over time. This isn't something new.
For example when Ford showed off the current Mustang in 2009/2010? A lot of people including myself liked it.
That isn't always the case. It's been years since Acura and Nissan debuted their 370z and TL and I still think those two are ugly.
The new Mustang has the family Ford face, I don't think that's really debatable.
