But we are talking about few cars here and there. And they cost similar to 330i for instance, not Mustang prices in USA.

If Ford thinks they will sell few thousand in Europe, then :-)
I wouldn't think they expect to sell volumes but maybe a growing number year over year. The economics of Europe and Asia are quite different form here in the US. The price of fuel will make the V8 Mustang something of a premium car in Europe but I think there will be a decent number of buyers. The turbo 4 might actually do well there. Thing is, the very Americaness of the Mustang is probably what will make it desirable in Europe. I can see quite a few selling in Russia, if it is sold there.

OK, suit yourself.

You may (untimately) be right, but, right now, I think that's a risky statement to make.

I'm prepared to be wrong, but I'm confident this latest Mustang will storm out the gate. A compelling package, typically better all around usability than it's muscle car competitoin, arsenal of powertrains and technology, the name Mustang (brand power). Possiblitiy of offering a solid axle in a package: http://www.autoblog.com/2013/12/17/2...-axle-sort-of/

These are all things the Camaro and Challenger need to worry about. The Mustang is so robust for the price

I wish the car had tad bit of chrome trimming, especially in the front grille section.

I am not a chrome type of guy but little bits add a more luxury appeal, kind of like the bmw 6 series and mercedes CL coupes.

Lee Iacocca shows off the Mustang 1 concept and the very first pre-preproduction model. Flash forward for an in-depth look at the 2015 GT prototype with chief engineer Dave Pericak.

live rear axel or not guys??? I havent had time to read up on this. I am sure Ford will do wonders with this new Pony, but the big question is did they rework that rear suspension to the 21st century or are we still cost cutting and claiming it to be ok. They did a solid handling job with the Laguna Seca Boss 302 so I am assuming they can still do some good stuff with the old set up.

The live rear is gone. I believe they are still offering it in some form for those who drag race.

There is a live axle available as part of a "drag pac". It seems strange to pay extra to replace IRS with a solid axle, but there are some uses for it.
