C7 is a contemporary sports car, Mustang is stylized retro muscle car.

 

2015 Mustang is overall a GREAT Design!!!!!!!!
The Fastback rear is just awesome, Front is my least favorite part but still OK.

Interior design is nice - the materials and overall build quality for interior/exterior needs to greatly improve compared to the current one which is horrendous.

Again love the looks, reminds of the 65 Fastback.

well you said vette, not c7 specifically but regardless, the c7 has gobbets of heritage cues from prior models, just as the mustang does, but that's where the similarities end. the vette has some very serious performance hardware (and software). the mustang is more crude, and of course, a whole lot cheaper, but this one, like the c7, appears to be a big step over prior ones, but with lots of linkage.

 

I want one but my garage is full, darn 2 car. I may have to park one outside or thin the herd. Thankfully im not a buyer for another 18 months or so. But the hardest decision for me will be between the ecoboost or the coyote. I miss having a turbo car and the lighter weight and forged bottom end (on both) is so tempting. Turn up the boost on the eco or put a larger turbo on it and that thing will be a terror. But then again put a TVS or procharger on the Coyote with what should be a 8000 rpm redline my goodness. Thankfully i wont be the first wave of buyers and will have some time to see what the tuners can do. But the lighter weight eco with supporting mods and maybe a larger turbo down the line with the 6sp auto and pp is very very tempting esp as i already have 2 v8's in the garage now. I am salivating to see what happens when tuners get there hands on the eco break the code and start running wild.

 

Looks very nice maybe around 450bhp for the V8. Looking forward to the GT500 version. On the other hand Corvette Z06 it's on this way Along with the Camaro Z/28 it's the muscle wars again. Heck all were missing is a Trans Am.

 

I can't wait to see what Shelby and Roush do to this thing.

I think this car is really striking and hits all the right notes. It says Mustang all over, plus I love all the details such as the roof creases and the beautifully integrated third brake light at the top of the rear windshield. If it looks this good in pictures it probably looks much better even in person.

Something tells me Ford really worked out the car's mechanicals too so that this car is a real joy to drive. Looking forward to the test drives.
