The Fj cruiser was Toyota's idea of a modern land cruiser fj40 with modern styling and more creature comforts..

but in my opinion the land cruiser 71 is really the true descendant of the fj40

Available as a hardtop or a soft top.
power trains vary from the 1hz straight 6 diesel , the 1GR-FE v6 petrol or in some rare cases the 1VD-FTV v8 with a single turbo diesel, all mated to a 5 speed manual.

Available with locking hubs, front and rear diff locks and an electronic winch! Standard they come with 1 airbag ( driver ) but they can be optioned out with 2 airbags ( driver + passenger ). Electric windows are optional.

If they sold that here, I would agree, but until then, I'm sticking with my FJ since we all know only the US market matters! (An obviously tongue-in-cheek biased statement).
