Well, it's an improvement. They sure softened her up, the last model aged very fast as sharp cars usually do.

Still won't consider them pretty because of the rear end, but I like the changes

It looks refined, but the E seems to be giving way to other competitors. Once a serious contender is slowly becoming midpack

Used to always love the e-class, but within recent years it's just become so plain, to be honest, their entire line has done that, besides maybe the c class, not counting the mercedes you never see like the cls, sl, ect.

I'd say the front end change is more than subtle.

Disappointing . The front and rear have become so generic now, with their ambiguously styled front and rear lights. The car has essentially lost its German styling identity.

Strongly disagree on that. A lot of "sharp" cars have aged very well in fact, especially cars from the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. There are a lot of cars from those eras with "sharp" styling that are still highly regarded for their styling and they still hold their value, the units in good condition.

This is a disgrace IMO. Now every Benz will look like a generic Korean car. No hint of German styling whatsoever. The pre-refresh model is bold, sharp, and screams German. By the way, E Class has been selling like crazy, so clearly the market really likes the sharp styling. Will sales struggle after this refreshed model comes out, that will be an interesting point to look for.
