Definitely better than the original, but the proportions on this car are still all wrong. Those multispoke wheels are nice.

Looks a little bit better. It appears the HS 250h will still carry the same engine and not upgrade to the same engine as the ES 300h? The HS 250h could certainly fill the gap between the CT 200h and the ES 300h. The rwd IS 300h would also be a great filler between the CT200h and ES 300h.

Lexus please bring the IS 300h and new HS 250h to the United States!

Lexus has many hybrids it's not even funny.

CT 200h
HS 250h
IS 300h
ES 300h
GS 300h
GS 450h
LS 600h/600h L

RX 450h

^^ Really weird how they keep that engine in the car. My family member loves it, can't move them to the ESh so now I'm curious can I source this to update the car.

Gonna find out

Like I said before this is the best interpretation of the spindle grille with a divider so far, better than even the LS IMHO. The interior also looks better now with more wood-grained panels. A shame that the side profile is such a deal breaker, as well as the middling fuel efficiency due to the outdated powertrain by today's hybrid standard.

Default Special Edition Lexus HS 250h Now Available in Japan

Lexus Japan will release a special edition HS 250h in June with the exclusive Harmonious Leather Interior II package.

The interior features black & white leather with violet highlights, along with beautiful birds eye maple & ash wood trim — here are some photos.

Any exterior color can be chosen, though an exclusive Starlight Black option is available with the package. The HS 250h Harmonious Leather Interior II will retail for 4.63 million yen.

North American sales of the HS 250h were discontinued in 2012. The model is now only available in Japan.

The HS we should of had in the first place. This looks sooo much better than what we ever had (granted the ESh is what the HS should have been all along).

Nice spindle. Good looking wood, and nice purple stitching.

Lexus should off the HS in both Hybrid and EV/EV Plug-In similar to how Ford does the C-Max in Hybrid and PHEV versions

Nice looking HS inside and outside. Too bad we don't get this HS special edition. It appears only Japan get the HS 250h and nobody else...

The HS has more room and power than the CT. I almost purchased the HS but went with the CT instead.

When Lexus took me touring in Tokyo my first day I got to see the HS with the spindle grill in person and it works very well.

Bacon does taste good...and so does pork chops and ham...mmm...

I think the HS does what it's suppose to do and I'm sure the Japanese love it since it's not too large. In Japan the streets are narrow and not much parking space either.

I didn't mind the HS. Agreed with Hoovey2411, that the spindle grill should have been used since the beginning. Also, maybe a slightly lower MSRP would have boost sales.
