Nice, thanks for the pics. Lexus invited me out as usual but I couldn't make it which was a real bummer.
Don't usually like the look of the GT-R but that fatlace one is pretty ridiculous.

Thanks guys. I feel very lucky to have gone and feel that it was totally worth the two days off work, hotel cost, and 10 hours of driving round trip. I would do it again in a heart beat !!Thank you again to the CL member who allowed me a glimpse into the SEMA world and its amazing cars

Your observations were spot on! The FRS dominated the show...last year, it was the Camaro.
It's always amazing to me how much money is spent on this industry alone. So many products and vehicles worth an insane amount of money all under one roof basically. I'll be there next year as well

I've met hundreds probably thousands at this point of members here let alone on other forums. There is a certain level of credibility added online when you meet people, see their cars and chat with them in person. I can be extremely opinionated at times
and Tammer and I have quite a few chats publicly and in private to say the least. 
So when the opportunity came to meet at SEMA we chatted to make it happen.
Now I am 6'5 about 250 so it was funny when we were on the phone trying to meet and he's like "hey I'm the tall guy in all black".
So I thought momentarily "maybe I'm going to get my *** whooped for a change instead of the other way around"... we see each other and Tammer is just as big as me so it was kind of funny.
Immediately we embraced and it was like meeting a friend again for the first time. It happens like that with some people online, you just "click". He is one of the kindest and warmest people I've met, extremely polite, complimentary and just HAPPY to be at SEMA. I showed him around, gave him a pass and simply explained he had a LOT of walking to do on Thursday and Friday.
Around 24 hours later he comes back. SEMA is HUGE, just HUGE beyond words, exhausting. You could see the glow on his face to have experienced it much like my face last year.
Thanks for being such a great guy and taking the time to stop by to say hello and hang out for a few and thanks for sharing your experience.

Thank you so much Mike. It was really great to meet you and the VOSSEN crew. It was very very cool of you to invite me to SEMA to get a peak at the amazing cars and the biggest and best the industry has to offer. I have learned so much from Mike over the years and have enjoyed CL more because of the many many contributions Mike has made to CL and the entire community of car people, so I was excited to meet him face to face. I have to agree that meeting you was like meeting an old friend again for the first time. If it wasnt for Mike none of this would have even happened. Also other than SEMA it was my first vacation in over 2 years. I needed to rest and the cars were a great way to get my mind off of seeing patients all day and running a business. If any of you CL members get a chance to meet Mike at event go for it. He is one of the warmest, friendliest, and most approachable people you would ever hope to meet. Mike has the reputation that he does because of all he does for the community , his broad spectrum of knowledge , and many great relationships with many companies, shops, and small businesses in the industry. He is a great guy and we are lucky to have him on CL.
Thanks again Mike !! Maybe I will catch you at SEMA 2013.
