Now I know that the exterior is eye catching but I wouldn't call it a great looking car. A modern interpretation of the original NSX would have been the right direction to go, this just looks characterless/generic.

Mid-level 911 variants, high trim F types and Corvettes, the R8, AMG GT, GTR, etc. are all far better choices.
The NSX performance is on par with its competitors, some of which cost much more. Being that the NSX is a turbo and hybrid it is likely very easy to get more performance from it, possibly with just a software update though 0-60 around 3 seconds is probably more then enough for most buyers. So far the tests for the new Ford GT show it to be no quicker then the NSX yet it has a astronomical price.

I find the looks of it almost perfect in that it is beautiful and exotic, has presence but not loud and in your face like a Lamborghini. I was surprised how much better I thought it looked then the 458/488.

The fact that it is every day reliable and comfortable even if driven hard and does not have huge maintenance/upkeep costs is another big bonus. I don't think the issue is with the base price, it is that in order to add some bits and and options many buyers would want it gets to around 200K really quick.

I don't think a GTR is anything close to a NSX aside from pure performance, the NSX is on another level when it comes to looks and presence. AMG GT again is nice looking but not a mid engine exotic. New R8 styling is dull and bland to me. F types and Corvettes are nice for the money but again nowhere near the looks and presence.

what tests, actual laptimes or boring 0-60 1/4 mile tests? GT is almost 600# lighter than the NSX

The $30K is the incentive and has a bunch of oddities (now only applicable for cars built in the last few months, amount varies based on dealership activity)

Dealers are discounting on top of that

I think the cheapest one purchased was a steel rotor car for $122K

The Gen 2 area of NSXPrime has been reduced to a bargain hunting forum

i saw an nsx the other day turning from a side street on the right into the opposite lane of the road i was on. as it turned i thought the front proportion looked a bit odd... i guess it's the mid-ending design and short front... but i still really really like the car.

with the big discounts i'm wondering if acura sees it as a success or failure. either way, it's developed some great tech that i guess is finding its way into other acuras...

Sales are picking up for the NSX. They sold over 80 NSX's this month, it outsold the R8 where it only sold 39, NSX did pretty well last month too. They should be hitting their projected numbers especially if they count foreign sales, it is selling pretty well in the UK.

I speak with the Acura internal NSX specialists all the time and no it is not considered a success.

There has been pressure for probably 6-8 months to do something to increase sales. Folks thought it was going to be a cheap lease like they had at the end of the Gen 1 run, but they came up with this really big incentive instead.

The idea is to get some cars seen on the street (as was mentioned, most folks have never seen one) and to reduce inventory.

I still haven't seen another customer owned one on the road in Chicagoland.

People seem to enjoy my car when they see it and I give credit to Acura for building it (basically this was the 4th version since they started working on a replacement).

I saw a dark red (not quite maroon) one regularly up until about a month ago, when we take my son out to his weekend piano lesson, so he must live in the area. Looked good and don't even mind the shield grille. Have not seen it recently; maybe his weekend schedule changed.

I have seen 2 new NSX's so far, one a white almost a year ago and a blue one from a distance recently. I loved the white one, just a stunning beautiful car. Weird thing is I never see older NSX's anymore when I used to see them every now and then. They are reliable well built painless to drive every day cars so maybe owners just aren't driving them as much to keep their values up.

I really hope Honda does not make the same mistake they did with the last NSX and just let it stagnate, they need to make new versions like a non hybird version, Type R, something less expensive or maybe a car based on the platform that is less expensive and they can't wait so long to update it.

Las Vegas Raiders Star Josh Jacobs Crashes His Acura NSX, Suffers Head Injury

Getting behind the wheel comes with rewards and risks at the same time. You're now able to go almost anywhere you want, at any given time, but there's always that constant threat of getting involved in an accident. It doesn't even have to be your fault, and you can never really predict when something like this will happen, but chances are that it will happen at one point or another.

The chances of something like this occurring to you might increase slightly if you're driving a faster than a normal vehicle. That's because fast cars can easily make you forget about the speed limit, or about the perils that come with day to day driving. About a month ago, Las Vegas Raiders star Josh Jacobs was unfortunate enough to get involved in an accident while driving near the Vegas airport.

The single-car accident happened on the 4th of January, at 4:42 AM, and while he did suffer a minor head injury, we're happy that he got out of it in one piece. The car in question was his 2019 Galaxy-themed
Acura NSX, which sustained some pretty heavy damage in the front. The airbags seem to have deployed as well, but all in all, the car might be able to get fixed, depending on final assessments.

The 22-year-old running back was immediately transported to the hospital, and it looks like stitches were required, but he seems to be recovering quickly, judging by a recently posted photo of him. Officials initially suspected this to be a DUI case, but blood alcohol tests indicated the contrary, and charges will not be filed against him. We managed to find a short video of Josh's
Acura, showcasing the lovely galaxy-purple theme.

The 2021 model has a starting MSRP of $159,495, including a $1,995 destination charge. The engine is a twin-turbocharged V6, capable of 573 horsepower and 476 lb-ft (644 Nm) of torque, a considerable upgrade if you were to compare it with the older generation. It will be interesting to see if
Josh will get back behind the wheel of an NSX, or if he will choose something else, as we've also noticed a photo of him and a Shelby Mustang on his Instagram profile.
