you can tune FRS on purpose... but i doubt you will be able to tune Lexus... however you can easily add piggyback to it.

When the GS came out it was called the BEAST busted out of a cage/box. They should have a similar approach with this and call it BEAUTY. This car seems to just flow, the design is incredible! Lexus is really setting the bar high!

The grill looks like a giant cheese grater.

The rest of the car looks nice.

i hope they keep it, at least for the F-Sport as someone mentioned...

As chief engineer for the LC-CC said, if people dont like it, too bad.

Yup, also if people really don't like it, Im sure they can fashion some sort of a bra for the car. I like it, makes the car stand out.

Factor twin turbo with 350 HP for the 3IS(350) model. This is like a dream come true if they actually pull that off.

Yeah I think if they go Twin Turbo it should probably be closer to 400 hp and then the IS-F closer or more than 500hp..... that'd be so sweet!!!!

I can't stop thinking about this car and when it's coming out.... aaaahhh I'm going to explode!

well in that case, IS350 Twin Turbo will probably have closer to 500 hp while IS-F will be updated with 700+ hp engine.

I think it being "uncrackable" is due to the lack of tuners focusing on the IS, overall Lexus brand on a whole. I'm sure BMW has its best security patches on their ecu's to avoid those taking advantage of the car, but due to the mass following of BMW and BMW specific tuners, more hands will surely find a way to crack them.

As the F brand gets more popular and widespread, we'll see ECU hacks more frequently and opening up these motors true identities

Then why did exterior designer Hideaki Iida said the LF-CC concept will preview next year's new IS?

they probably refer to the fact that you can charge more for it if it named differently :-).

people need to be realistic... if competition offers 300hp and more torque then they will probably offer similar numbers... good thing about turbo's is that there is an easy way to offer sports versions with more hp.
