Question on Text/Email Alerts
So I understand Lexus hasnt gotten the iPhone working on text messaging but I have an issue Im wondering if anyone has been able to fix.
I have a 2013 GS350 - since I paired the iphone everything pretty much works great.
The issue is unless Im listening to music from the phone (eg bluetooth) my phone WILL NOT notify me of a text (audibly). It drives me nuts
anyone had this happen and figure out how to get it to notify,.
I really could care less about texting through the vehicle but getting of the feature notified me that would be awesome.

Get a windows phone. It will read out the text messages as well as allow you to respond using voice tech over bluetooth. It does on my 2008 IS250.
