This guy has been parking this near my work for about a week. I'm not real into older cars, but it really caught my eye due to how clean and straight the body was. Looked quite original.

I've missed ours even though the LS400 replaced it. Each time I see one I think..."project car" but then I already have a project car and no $ to throw at it.
Hope it finds a loving owner to keep it on the road. I liked that 5M engine, very smooth. A pic I held onto from an Aussie Cressida forum. Notice the 5 lug wheels.

I see one once in a blue moon here in the midwest.. mainly rusty because of the salt winters.. But.. when i see a clean one in person which is rare.. I stare harrrdddd. They are beautiful classics for sure.

I used to drive a cressy in high school.
there was a guy who had a slammed cressy on work ewing wheels.
I think that's where I got my love affair with vip cars.

Camry?! Dude, you're killin' me! LOL Seriously, thanks for the compliment, most appreciated. I have to say the Cressida has got me conflicted. I think I actually like driving it more than my 2000 GS, it's just got so much character. Plus, I bought it as my wife's car and winter car. But, now I don't want to drive it in winter.....and I still need a winter car, WTF!
I definitely got sucked in by great looks, beautiful ride, generous and smooth power, all the luxury goodies of the day and a lovely driving experience.
Would recommend a Cressi to anyone.

Yeah, from 89-91 the Camry and the Cressida looked nearly identical. I think in some markets the Camry was called the "Cressida Camry." Except the Cressi had rear-wheel drive and that sweet in-line six. Oh, and the Cressi cost a whole lot more ($33,000 CDN in 90).
Thanks for the interest in my car.
