Yup. The CAmry has outsold the Accord since 2003. Mind you the Camry is now sedan only and the Accord includes coupes and Crosstour sales initially.

Fleet sales have always accounted for a nice chunk of Camry/Toyota sales(around 15%-18% recently) where Honda/Accord only does a very very small number of fleet sales(about 2%) which is why Honda's have better resale value. The Big 3 fleet sales have always been very high, around 30% and in some cases over 30%.

Sigh... Honda avengers about to assemble here

Again accord sales include coupes and crossturds until this year where they took accord out the name.

Both sell great, who gives a **** if the accord is 2nd? It's still outselling everything not Camry.

Exactly, that's why I didn't even post them here. That's like posting 2007 LS spy images in a 2007 Camry thread back when both were testing in 2005.

The Acura should look very similar to the concept car.

Not even close. The RL is accord based and the vast majority of people with working eyes have commented it looks too much like an Accord. Reading around people are confusing these two mules outside of the optional LED lamps and beak.

No one confuses LS and Camry spy pics unless they are idiots or trying to make a Jab at Lexus not to mention the LS sure as hell isn't Camry based.

wow this is going to give their own TSX and TL a run for their money.

with everyone trying to out do each other in midsized segment, they sure seem to be out doing themselves by canibalizing their upscale market with their midsized vehicle.

Looks nice so far.

It's all Honda and it will be kind of interesting to compare developments of future Accord and RLX. Both stand as flagships for their respective brands.

I find it quite interesting that RLX ubber techno drivetrain debuted in Honda Accord first.

there's so many pics in this thread it's hard to know what is what and with all that camo, it's not clear at all whether a new accord and acura will be that similar.

maybe just wait and see?
