LX ought to stay Lancruiser based. Heck, the Landcruiser prices approaches that of the LX, they might as well pull the landcruiser model from the US market. The GX I think could make a great competitor to the LR Range Rover. Unibody based but still fiercely offr-oad capable like the new Jeep Grand Cherokee, and a weapon on the street. Do it.

Lexus, now is not them time to be "considering" turbos. Now is the time to be testing them for implementation. Yes, keep the wonderful V6s and V8s, but a 2.5 turbo 4 in an IS250 to get your toes wet can't hurt.

Says who? Somehow I strongly doubt that.

that electricity doesnt come out of nowhere, where are you going to generate it from? A larger alternator driven from the engine? You might as well use a supercharger, that would be even simplier.

I hope you are wrong on this. I love my 4runners! On my 5th one, 2011! It has such a following and truly is one of the last remaining BOF SUV's left which might prove it useful in the US still.

The GX and LX should stay true 4x4s. They have their niche, they sell and are well received. Not everyone wants a car based SUV. Toyota/Lexus have the resources to offer both and I don't want to hear "too many SUVS" when currently BMW, Benz have more SUVs and even Infiniti offers 3 SUVs.

A small CUV is coming as well.

I'm also with M1 on the turbo comment. Just "thinking" of it?

I agree. I do however think that the GX should go Unibody. It could fill it's originally intended role as well as the one of a 3 row without having to introduce yet another SUV. More is too much (Yes, I said it, lol). The only thing is, It's a fairly small volume vehicle, so what will it share it's theoretically unique chassis with to keep costs in check?

Congrats. We'll see if that info true when the time comes along.
