I was reading some Chinese news yesterday about Bo Guagua which lead to another article about the Chinese SSC.

They said that basically almost all member of the SSC are sons and daughters of high level communist party members (hence theirability to afford some of these obscenely expensive cars in their 20s). This was proven when they released some article that shed negative light on the showy / entitled nature of some of SSC's members and SSC used both political and police connection to get the article pulled / demanded apology.
