Exotic sports cars exhaust scream / shriek video thread
After 20 years of owning, modding, playing, watching cars, I concluded that the #1 most important factor that determine how exciting a car feel is the exhaust note. Even if a car is really fast, if the exhaust don't sounds good, it still feels boring.
On a street car on stock exhaust system, my favorite right now is: Carrera GT, LFA, 599 GTO, Zonda F.
The requirement is pretty much: Naturally aspirated, high cylinder count (at least 8 cylinders, but V10 and V12 is best), dry sump, high rev.

The V8 in the E9X M3 is pretty much the cheapest car that have that exotic sounds. The V10 in the E60 M5 is 2 more cylinders of that awesome-ness.
A honorary mention is to the V6 in the NSX, the best sounding V6 so far, but not quite have that exotic sounds. It is only a V6 and only rev to 8k. Very close but no cigar.

Yes pretty much all engine with 8 cylinders or more that rev higher then 8k rpm have that exotic sounds.

The flat-plane-crank V8 is only used by Ferrari and the Lotus Esprit. That is why they sound unique. All other road cars use crossplane crank which is what creates the burbling noise of most street car V8s.
Ferrari and Lambo V12s sound a little less delicate than the V8s, but more brutal. Keep the videos coming!
