Europe doesn't get the HS250h. The Toyota Avensis, which looks eerily similar to the HS250h, is sold here on the other hand. And it's dull compared to the stylish French competition (Renault Megane, Citroen C5 and Peugeot 508).

what does Megane have to do with Avensis? Laguna sucks...508 too... C5 is nice but old.

with new facelift, i think it looks nice.

the biggest turn off for me is the weird looking wheel gaps on those things. why can't they make them standard sedan heights rather than cuv heights. the whole package just looks very awkward.

In terms of styling I find the Megane and 508 to be very attractive compared to the bloated and dull Avensis. The Citroen C5 is the beauty queen in this class by far in my opinion.

you do realize Megane is Auris/Golf class? I dont know why you keep mentioning it. Laguna is Avensis competitor.

C5 was stunning when it came out... but 3-4 years later its ok. Avensis doesnt look bloated, if anything pre-facelift looks too narrow with weird headlights. I think facelift Avensis looks very good, especially Wagon.

508 is boring too, nothing special about its akward lines at all. Maybe thats because I see a lot more 508's and C5's than you? Plenty of them around here due to low pricing.

They actually export the Avensis to Japan.

These are exported from Toyota UK Derbyshire factory

Then the radio HU unit and navigation systems are installed in Tahara, Japan (yeah the place where they make Lexus cars).



P.S.
Anyways, the HS250h was useless imho. I'm glad to see it go on the chopping block
