You must not read correctly or completely decided to ignore my last line.
The fact that they were able to bring out the same HP from a motor almost a whole liter less IS impressive wether you want to admit it or not. That was the only point I was trying to make. Just like when mitsubishi made wonders with the EVO MR, it was able to keep up with lambos. Doesnt mean I would take one over the Italian.

What happens with these engines 5-6 year sand 200,000 miles in the future? Who knows.

Well....I do borrow my father's IS 250 from time to time and enjoy the smoothness, but I am happy to get back into the seat of my 13 year old 2.5L Legacy GT. Why? Because it can get out of its own way.
