Like yourself, I'm not brand loyal. I like cars in general. Between the isf and m3, I'd have gone with the m3 as well. The m3 sedan seats 5 and comes with a manual transmission and IMO, looks a little better.

Thanks guys!

I can't wait for the car to arrive. That is one drawback from doing Euro Delivery. You get a taste of the car and then you have to wait 2 months again for redelivery.

Sweet ride and great pics! I'm also not brand loyal and I'm loving the new M5. I'll pick one up after somebody else has taken the 50-60% depreciation hit though. That's what I did with my Jag and E63.

awesome trip report....dunno wtf that one poster is thinking trying to discourage trip reports like this just cuz its a non-lexus vehicle.

i for one would love to see more pictures from the trip if you have them.
really beautiful car, M3 and GT3 have been my 2 "dream cars" since i was young....unfortunately it will prolly be awhile before life situation/finances conspire to let me get a pure "fun/passion" car.
in the meantime i'll live vicariously thru trip reports like yours.

congrats.

Nurburgring
Me dropping off the car at the Frankfurt location and saying bye bye to my new baby.

Yes the big discount was one of the major factors of me even considering the euro delivery option.

I live in north OC but I'm in south OC Irvine area almost every weekend.

I'm going to SEMA next month also. Not sure if you are attending.

Congrats on the ride and thanks for sharing your trip adventure.

One of my buddy's keep sending me Porsche info about the Euro delivery option. All he has to do is also send me a ticket with the winning Lotto numbers.

You have to pay for the car here in the U.S. two weeks before you leave for Germany, meaning tax and registration BEFORE leaving for Germany.
