Yeah, dealers do make mistake and you have to give them chance, but he did have raise his voice a bit though

That doesn't mean, however, that the CPO process itself is a scam.....generally, it's not. They usually are in better shape, overall, than regular used-cars on the lot, and carry an impressive warranty. Of course, you pay extra for CPO's...they require more labor and inspections to get them ready for re-sale. But, despite the dealer/manufacturer hype and ads, the simple fact of a car having a CPO tag does not necessarily mean new-car-like perfection in a previously-owned vehicle. I've seen some CPOs that actually "passed" the official dealer-inspections, yet still showed some signs of accident-damage, broken parts (like your console), bubbles/rust in the paint, underhood fluid-leaks, etc....
Manufacturer sponsored CPO with extended warranty and history of parts being replaced may justify the cost premium. Most dealers that manage the CPO process for the manufacturer will cut corners to increase their margins. Some of them will make cars "look" like CPO cars, until you sign the papers and discover that they were not (eg. a local dealer here that put used cars in the CPO branded lot with CPO plates lot even though the cars didn't meet the criteria of >4years and 96k Km)

Glad to hear you got your car fixed, and Lexus took care of the problem.
Hopefully the dealer learned his lesson.
