I appreciate the C5 - it's one of my dream cars, but the DS5 is definitely roomier and a bit more versatile overall than the C5 sedan and C5 Break (wagon). I think that's going to be one of the main selling points of the car and those who want it are willing to pay for it.

It'll also make a great long-distance cruiser.

The DS5 isn't listed yet on the German Citroen website.

except the C5 is larger in every way than DS5 :-).

DS5 is based on Peugeot 3008. It is one size smaller than C5.

Thats why I thought it would have been smarter to make it an SUV, instead of whatever it is right now. I think 3008 is great looking (but again, no AWD which is ... weird).

I still think that this car has potential. It definitely can (at the very least) match what Alfa Romeo is offering respectively

there is no such Alfa... Giulietta is competitor to DS4.

DS5 is class larger. Literally it is like Rav4 SUV smashed down into coupe mpv looking thingy.

I really do believe that they should have made it an X1 competition... just raise it a bit and offer AWD.

Being the first production full-hybrid to combine diesel and electric powers, this car seems just about perfect in every way. 200hp, roomy, practical, AWD, stylish, mileage comparable to a Prius, lots of intriguing designs in the details. Just about perfect. Too bad it will probably never come to the Stateside.

i am not even sure if they will end up selling the hybrid to the mass market, maybe they will do it like with 3008 (very limited)... I think someone would have to be certified insane to buy Citroen Hybrid instead of their 160hp diesel for instance.

I am not even considering the hybrid to exist until at least one year passes and forums are clean of any major issues. If Koreans cant do Hybrids that dont break, I would be very worried about french.

Looks cluttered and forced. I guess posting up a pic of a guy posing with the sunlight in the back means the car looks good.

Nice shoes
