MB GL450-Opinions on Purchasing
we are somewhat considering a cpo one, but really not sure if it's worth it or not. i love the space that's for sure
. My dad has had good luck with his previous MB leases/purchases so whether good or bad, he believes in the brand. Plus it's a company car so he gets to expense all of the gas and repairs

Well after much headache inducing and frustrating car search we found and purchased our car!
The reason is that we wanted a VERY specific GL with specific options. Had to work with 4 dealers and ended up getting it Dealer traded from Beverly Hills.
We LOVE the GL. It has just enough room (for a wife and a 1yr and 5yr old) and does not see to be an annoyance to drive due to its size. Filled with luxurious amenities including Premium 2 pkg (push button, NAV, BACKUP CAM, Harmon Kardon 5.1), Appearance pkg (20" rims, running boards) Light pkg (LED lights), Entertainment pkg (Dvd system), park assist, 3rd row, 7500lbs tow hitch and keeps on going...)
MSRP was $75,000 and We purchased it for $8800 UNDER MSRP. 2012 are coming out next week, we got the 3.49% deal from MBFS due to our excellent credit and I put some money down to lessen the monthly impact.
One thing that I was not sure about is adding the EXTENDED warranty to the 4yr/50K to 7yr/75K for $2800.
I can imagine how expensive the parts and labors get after the warranty expires so hopefully made the right call.
Will post pix later. Its a beauty.

I used to owned Rx330 for good 6 years. Sunroof and both front suspension was replaced around 75k miles. I drove around rx350 loaner 2011 whenever I had oil change, light weight, safe on gas, I wanted an upgrade I have 3 kids, wife, and a nanny now. I tried the MB GL450 I love the look and the gadgetry. Test drove 2 different GL fully loaded with LED tail light and blindspot sensor also base model. I like the GL LOOK compared to GX460. The ride, handling, cabin noise is equal to new Rx350. H'way driving is pleasant since GL is heavier and V8 7 speed tranny. The rear sunroof was a plus. However wife disagree with my desire buying a Benz coz its using plenty of cost cutting learned from Chrysler reliability is issue #1 wife afraid of the Benz got stuck in the h'way with 3 toddlers in tow as in where we saw many many many of them doesn't matter E ML S C class. She asked if I would try the new GL 460. With heavy heart I took her advise took my eldest daughter in tow back to Lexus dealer in queens NY. I ask for a test drive GX460 15 min later start to drove off the parking lot into busy roadway with plenty of acne on the road so called Northern Boulevard , instantly I said to my sales guy sat next to me what the F#%*? . This is 3x better than the new RX350 hands down and 2x better than GL450. I try the h'way driving so quiet its impeccable its like classical music I signed the deal the same day I tough I was buying another Toyota but its not its Lexus. Car is higher like common SUV but the handling, turning, adaptive suspension, front side camera is a plus, the ride is like a boat ride. Took the new car home left my RX330 at the dealer as trade in. Wife very happy. Kids happy. Me ? I'm happy with my new car as a friend just called me his GL450 have a seat track problem only 2009 GL450. I'm neither affiliated with any dealer or work for Lexus
