On the SPEED channel there is wonderful show on Jaguar and specifically the XJ and how they make it etc. They go into Jags history some and then the 1980s/90s where Japanese brands are brought up. Then it cuts to a guy that says "Lexus, Lexus did it right".

Always nice to get kudos from a competitor.

I drove a 2004 xj8 all day yesterday, i love that car, ive always loved jags in general. You dont realize how big it is though until you see the end of the emblem at the very end of the hood
